The RFDesign 900MHz Flexible Antenna (500mm RP-SMA) is a lightweight, low-profile antenna designed for operation within the 902–928 MHz ISM band. Engineered for UAV telemetry and long-range communication systems, it delivers reliable RF performance while maintaining minimal weight and aerodynamic impact.
Optimized for free-space operation or installation on RF-transparent materials such as foam wings, balsa structures, thin fiberglass, and lightweight fuselages, the antenna maintains better than -10 dB return loss when properly mounted. Its slim profile allows for clean integration into compact airframes.
Designed for vertical polarization when mounted upright, the antenna radiates similarly to a vertically mounted dipole. This makes it well-suited for installation on vertical stabilizers or other upright airframe surfaces for optimal signal propagation.
Equipped with a 500mm RG316 coaxial cable and RP-SMA connector, it provides flexible routing options for integration with 900 MHz telemetry radios and RFD systems.
