Description
The AirPixel LR1 MavLink Expander is a specialized module designed for direct exposure and camera control of the Sony ILX-LR1 via MavLink protocol. Compatible with PX4 and Ardupilot flight controllers, this module enables precise, real-time control of key camera functions without relying on WiFi-based communication.
Installed internally within the camera, the LR1 MavLink Expander provides direct access to exposure parameters and camera operations, allowing seamless integration into professional UAV mapping and industrial imaging workflows.

The module can operate as a standalone MavLink device or be integrated with the ENTIRE R3 system. It is fully compatible with AirPixel camera control software including MavCam, the MissionPlanner plugin, and standalone tools for QGroundControl.
Wiring & Integration
The ENTIRE R3 wiring set includes:

Cable for direct connection of the LR1 Expander to ENTIRE R3

Cable for connection via Gremsy Pixy-LR gimbal AUX port
Note: Additional ENTIRE R3 and Pixy-LR wiring sets are required. This expander kit serves as an add-on module. ENTIRE R3 must be wired for triggering and focus activation when used in this configuration.
Rev2 adds support for Photo/Movie shooting mode control.
